Yesterday we attended the Extra Crispy Brass Band (a local MKE band) concert in Kadish Park as part of the Skyline Music Series. Hundreds of folks from the Riverwest neighborhood and more came with their blankets, chairs, food, dogs, wine, beer and children to sit and listen to the music with this glorious backdrop. There's river at the bottom of the hill, which you can't really see in the picture. AND it was free! This was the last concert of the summer, but we'll make sure to look for this concert series again next summer.
